Understanding the Vision

We approached this by incorporating dosage charts, symptom information, and quick reference lookups tied to the patient's profile within the app. Empowering caregivers with easy to use tools not only eased their concerns, but also improved the overall efficiency of the healthcare process.
Streamlining Communication
Caregivers often struggle with knowing when to call in for medical assistance. Our solution was to integrate a symptom checker that would guide parents on when to seek medical attention. Furthermore, we provided guidance on what symptom triage information they should share with nurses when making that call. This feature not only reduced unnecessary calls but also improved the quality of information provided to medical professionals.
Simplifying Care Coordination
For families with multiple children, managing their care within a single app was a top priority. We leveraged calendar appointments and recommendations to help caregivers effortlessly coordinate their children's healthcare needs. This not only improved the organization of healthcare appointments but also provided a comprehensive view of each child's health journey.
Encouraging Preventive Care
To incentivize parents to prioritize preventive care, we incorporated gamification elements into the app. Families First Pediatrics wanted to ensure that insurance covered yearly checkups, and we helped them achieve this by creating a system that not only benefited the child's health but also financially rewarded families and the healthcare provider. This gamification structure encouraged parents to schedule regular checkups, promoting overall child well-being.
Simplifying Billing
Finally, we addressed the often cumbersome process of bill payment.
